ABOUT ISTRA

Istra
Istria – the biggest adriatic peninsula - is the most sought-after holiday destination in Croatia. It`s located between Trieste and Rijeka, only a few hours away from Germany and Austria. Over 600 miles of coastline with uncountable lonely bays, exciting rock formations and beautiful pebble beaches are awaiting travellers on their visit to Istria.

An ancient croatian adage says “Whenever you put your finger into the ocean, you are connected with the entire world”. This wisdom lives on in the mind of today's Croatians. No town is less the 20 miles from the coast, and many cities protrude into the water.

Despite the relatively small surface area, one will find an unbelievable variety of breathtaking landscapes. From western flat headlands, through the mainland’s vineyards and truffleforests to rough northern highlands. Beside these wonderful natural scenarios Croatia also offers multiple sports, leisure activities and is your first choice for a family vacation.

Rabac

Rabac
The little fishing village of former times has developed to one of Croatia’s most favoured bathing resorts. Several white pebble beaches, the beautiful mediteranian vegetation and the crystal clear water lead to the name “Pearl of the Kvarner bay”

Labin

Labin
Above Rabac you will find the ancient town Labin. It hides many cultural highlights. The most famous painters and sculptors originate in this region. The fascinating architecture and many historic memorials bestow Labin a fascinating atmosphere.

From the top of the “campanile”-church you will have a breathtaking view over Rabac, the south of Istria and the island Cres.
